Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:
30 to 5:
00, and Friday 8:
30 to Noon.
Fridays are optional work from home days.
Candidate would have to be available to work in person-this is not a full time remote opportunity.
The right candidate for this position must possess strong communication, customer service skills and possess an above average attention to detail.
We are a small business and as such there may be duties that fall outside of the listed duties below.
We will provide on-the-job training, however previous experience with any Practice Management software and physician's medical billing would be helpful, but are not required.
Requirements:
Computer literacy (basic computer functions, Word, Excel, Outlook) Previous customer service experience Outside the box thinking Willingness to learn Ability to operate a 10 key numerical pad Ability to work independently High School Diploma JOB DUTIES Entering CPT and ICD-10 codes from EHR into our billing software Sending claims electronically to various payers Troubleshooting claim rejections Running patient payments Generating financial reports for review Generating patient statements Discuss patient billing questions over the phone or in person as needed.
